Communications Manager of BroadStar Communications
Amanda D’Amato joined BroadStar’s Marketing Department in 2018 as Communications Coordinator and has also recently taken on an additional role as Community Channel Developer. Amanda obtained a Bachelor of Communications Degree from Western Connecticut State University, and brings 19 years in Business Management experience with a focus in Marketing Communications.
Amanda handles customer-facing Email Communications for various notifications and promotions. She manages all existing customer email blasts, and works with department heads to coordinate their design, review, and eventual distribution. She has successfully implemented company-wide task management programs, increasing productivity & communication between departments, and continues to onboard new management and employees within these platforms today. Amanda has created a Review Management Process which has raised BroadStar’s Google Review score from 1.4 to 3.5 stars. She has also established a process in which our customers receive periodic surveys regarding their services and overall customer satisfaction.
Amanda has also taken the lead on BroadStar’s Interactive Community Channel development. Amanda works with property management staff to create a lineup of visual content to encompass their events, notices, and other items pertinent to their residents. She works in tandem with our Smart Community Channel vendor, internal IT staff, and other departments to ensure our properties are served accurately and professionally.
