Screen Actors Guild Awards 2022

2022 SAG Awards | February 27, 2022

The 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, honoring the best television and film performances by actors of the year, announced their list of nominees on Instagram on January 12th. Planned for February 27th this year’s SAG Awards return to an in-person event and will follow COVID safety protocols after going virtual last year amid the pandemic, the event will simulcast live on TNT and TBS from the spacious Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California at 8 p.m. ET.  

“Succession” and “Ted Lasso” topped the list in the TV category with five nominations apiece, while “Mare of Easttown,” “The Morning Show,” and “Squid Game” landed four nominations each. Ridley Scott’s “House of Gucci,” and “The Power of the Dog” received the most nominations in the motion picture category with three each. The 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild will honor Helen Mirren with the lifetime achievement award this year.

The 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony is set to air live on February 27th, simulcasting on the TNT and TBS networks at 8 p.m. ET, please see the full list of the 2022 SAG Award nominees below.
