2023 Emmy Awards Ceremony

75th Emmy Awards | Postponed: January 15th, 2024

The Emmy Awards announced its list of nominees on July 12th, 2023  in a virtual broadcast hosted by actress Yvette Nicole Brown, for the 75th Emmy Awards, originally scheduled to broadcast in September on FOX, the Television Academy and Fox later decided to postpone the September ceremony date for a far-flung Monday in January 2024 due to the dual 2023 Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes. The 2023 Emmys will air live from the Peacock Theater at LA Live in Downtown Los Angeles on January 15th, 2024 at 8pm ET / 5pm ET. “Succession” received the most nominations again in 2023 with a whopping 27, followed by “The Last of Us” with a powerful 24 noms, and Season 2 of the “The White Lotus” receiving 1 less at 23 nominations. Not to be forgotten, Apple TV+’s “Ted Lasso”  received 21 nominations this year dominating the comedy space, honorable mention Netflix’s “Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” with 13 nominations for limited/anthology series and Roku’s “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story” with 8 nods in the TV Movie category.
