New Year’s Eve 2020-2021 TV Schedule

New Year’s Eve 2020-2021 is finally here, and we are sure you are all happy to see 2020 go. It’s no secret that the safest way to celebrate passing into 2021 is in the comfort of your own home, and BroadStar has the New Year’s Eve TV Specials to watch the ball drop in New York City! Tune in to either NBC or ABC starting at 8:00pm on New Year’s Eve to join in on all the fun.

at 8:00pm on NBC, enjoy a 2-hour special entitled “New Year’s Eve: Escape from 2020”. This program will run through an in-depth look at the positive and negative highlights of 2020. Look out for featured interviews with Lauren Ash, Skylar Astin, Carson Daly, Dylan Dreyer, Andrea Canning, Akbar Gbaja-Biamila, Kelly Clarkson, Willie Geist, Brad Goreski, Savannah Guthrie, Matt Iseman, Lester Holt, Sheinelle Jones, Carson Kressley, Preacher Lawson, Chris Mann, John Legend, Jane Levy, Loni Love, Howie Mandel, Josh Mankiewicz, Craig Melvin, Natalie Morales, Al Roker, Keith Morrison, Dennis Murphy, Alex Newell, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Chris Sullivan, Johnny Weir and more.

The broadcast will feature performances from across the country by AJR, Busta Rhymes featuring Anderson .Paak, Chloe x Halle, CNCO, Jason Derulo, Goo Goo Dolls, Kylie Minogue, Pentatonix, Bebe Rexha featuring Doja Cat, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Sting featuring Shirazee.

Then, starting at 10:00pm on NBC, Carson Daly hosts NBC’s New Year’s Eve special live from the heart of Times Square in New York City. Amber Ruffin (Star of Peacock’s “The Amber Ruffin Show”) and Stephen “tWitch” Boss (DJ and co-executive producer for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”) will join Carson to ring in 2021. This year’s celebration will include feature performances from artists including: AJR, Busta Rhymes featuring Anderson .Paak, Chloe x Halle, CNCO, Jason Derulo, Goo Goo Dolls, Kylie Minogue, Pentatonix, Bebe Rexha featuring Doja Cat, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Sting featuring Shirazee.

On ABC, “Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve” will air it’s 49th television special since debuting on December 31st, 1971. This year’s event, hosted by American Idol’s Ryan Seacrest, includes performances from Jennifer Lopez, Billy Porter, Cyndi Lauper, Nelly, Miley Cyrus, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Machine Gun Kelly and more. A whopping 5 hours of performances!
